Tóm tắt	In this book, the chapters on Asian American, Hispanics, and Native Americans contain much of the information that emerged from the focus groups and ensuring regional workshops. Thus the chapters are based not only on academic sources but also on information from health care professionals who are members of a particular ethnic group and/or have worked extensively with that group. The focus groups and regional workshops were also the source of the wide range of educational materials described in the compendium. Nurses who participated in focus group interview sessions have reviewed each chapter. The extensive reviews by ethnic nurses from across the United State helped to ensure that the information in each chapter was culturally relevant, timely, and would be of practical assistance to the health care professional working with members of the Native American, Hispanic, Asian/Pacific, Native Hawaiian, and African American cultures.
