Tóm tắt Children from 24 months to 60 months were at the highest risk for lobal pneumonia (50.8%). Clinical manifestations were cough (98.4%), fever (95.1%), tachypnea (72%), lower chest-wall indrawing (88.5%), wheezing (4.9%). Of chest X-ray images, right lower lobe pneumonia was the highest (39.3%), right upper lobe pneumonia (14.75%). The most common bacteria were Streptococcus pneumoniae (42.2%) and Haemophilus influenzae (36.8%). The original antibiotics mostly used were the 3rd generation cephalosporins (C3G) (50.7%) and C3G + azithromycin (47.8%). 58.2% of cases responded well to the original antibiotics. The successful rate of C3G + azithromycin was 81.2%. The responding of second antibiotics was also high (92.9%). 100% of patients were cured
